Rosebud Studio Stage - Duration: 120 minutes

Alberta, 1930. Farms are literally turning to dust and blowing away. Bible Bill Aberhart is preaching prophecy on CFCN, the voice of the prairie. Big city Calgary has electric lights and paved roads, but thousands are out of work after the crash of '29.

In the midst of all this, the Stockman family struggles to find faith, direction and hope in the midst of impossible odds.

Allen DesNoyers, former Rosebud School of the Arts instructor, and the one responsible for starting theatre in Rosebud, has rewritten a Rosebud classic for the Studio Stage. This evocative and moving drama features students in Rosebud's Mentorship Programme, and includes a stunning original score by DesNoyers himself.
