Enjoying time with her family as well as working part-time in theatre has made her feel very blessed to be in Rosebud. Becky stage manages the THR 359 shows on the Studio Stage. |

He is also works as composer for the Canadian Badlands Passion Play. Bill conducts Rosebud’s three choirs and teaches voice and speech. On sabbatical from June 07 to April 08, Bill is back in May of 2008!

Leah has been a resident of Rosebud since January 1995. In 1998 she graduated from RSA with a double major in Acting and Tour Administration. Leah is a member of the Company of Artists with Rosebud Theatre and serves as the Theatre Department Assistant. Her current acting credits include: The Good Doctor, St. Nick’s Magical Mystical Mystery Tour (which she also co-wrote), Village of Idiots, The Diviners and The Foreigner. Selected directing credits include: Count Dracula, Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Long Christmas Dinner, The Crucible, The Comedy of Errors, and Pith! Mark moved to Rosebud sixteen years ago to attend theatre school and upon graduation came on staff as the Tour Administrator. Now Rosebud Theatre’s production manager, Mark also keeps busy (or is that busier?) with acting, directing, and music ensembles. He is a member of the Company of Artists with Rosebud Theatre and credits include The Foreigner, Arms & the Man, Cotton Patch Gospel, The Diary of Anne Frank. Directing credits include The Curious Savage, Frank Dickens’ Christmas Carol, Footprints of a Pilgrim, Billy Bishop Goes to War, Furniture of Heaven, Butterfingers Angel…, and The Last Five Years. Mark teaches directing, supervises student final projects, and serves as general inspiration for Rosebud's swing dancers. |

Paul has also participated in the Canadian National Voice Intensive at UBC in Vancouver. Paul is the creative force behind the Mentorship Acting Programme. Jodi has won many awards and honours as a performer in numerous plays, musicals, choral groups and societies, solo competitions, and recitals. Some of her more significant accomplishments include Vocal Student of the Year (Liberty University, 1997), Soprano soloist in Mozart’s Vespers (St. Paul's and St. George's Episcopal Church, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Edinburgh, Scotland, 1999), the National Anthem for San Francisco Giants (July 3, 1992 & 1993). She has sung Donna Elvira from Mozarts' Don Giovanni with Operafestival di Roma in Rome and Verona Italy and studied with Richard Armstrong at the Banff Centre. Recent acting credits include Cotton Patch Gospel, When We Came West, and the Canadian Badlands Passion Play (July 2006). Many of her students are awarded honors in both local and provincial levels of annual festival competitions. |

Ann Salmonson

Ann Salmonson grew up in Thorhild, Alberta. Sewing was originally a form of artistic expression. Adjoining meat, postcards and other media into wearable forms, Ann has composed a great number of beautiful atrocities. Costuming being a far more reasonable means of paying the bills, quickly surpassed artistic endeavours. During her fifteen years as a professional costumer, she has had the pleasure of working with some of Canada’s greatest costuming treasures, some of her favorites being: Gary Dahms (Japan’s 2000 international artist), Angela White (Canadian master tailor) and Rebecca Burke (one heck of a lady). Ann is delighted to be able to find costuming bliss with Rosebud Theatre. She serves as a production advisor in costuming at Rosebud School of the Arts. |

Nathan Schmidt

Nathan has been a part of the Rosebud community of artists for eleven years. He is a graduate of Rosebud School of the Arts with an Acting major and has completed the Young Company internship program with Chemainus Theatre where he played Rolph in The Sound of Music and Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream. As a member of the Company of Artists with Rosebud Theatre, Nathan has been in many productions including Chekhov in The Good Doctor, Daddy Sherry in The Kite, Leon Schwab in The Voice of the Prairie, Schmendrick in Village of Idiots and Morgan in The Drawer Boy. As a musician Nathan has played fiddle in mainstage shows as well as with Rosebud's own bluegrass band, The Rosebud River Valley Boys and the folk duo Lewis & Royal. Nathan instructs in Acting, Stage Combat and Shakespeare. |

David joined RSA and Rosebud Theatre in the Fall of 2006. For 8 years previous he worked for Chemainus Theatre Festival on Vancouver Island as Education Director and Artistic Associate. Past acting credits include the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor™ Dreamcoat, Jesus in Godspell, Eric Birling in An Inspector Calls, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Valentine in Shaw’s You Never Can Tell. David teaches acting principles, acting Shakespeare, audition techniques, musical theatre, and Christianity and the Arts. He is also a director, sound designer and composer.

Maki moved to Rosebud ten years ago to assist in the marketing of Rosebud Theatre. She also began curating the Akokiniskway Art Gallery and acting in a number of productions. He was a musician for Chickens and A Canadian Carol and designed the set for Frank Dickens’ Christmas Carol (Rosebud Theatre). |

Deanne has lived in the Rosebud area since 1994 when she played Butterball in Rosebud’s first production of Chickens. Since then she has choreographed several shows in Rosebud, most recently Godspell and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat. Deanne has been actively involved with Kaleidoscope Theatre in Drumheller and presently teaches drama and dance at Strathmore High School. Deanne is thrilled to be teaching dance in Rosebud and can’t wait until her two adorable daughters sign up to be in her class. |

Jeanette ‘Jette’ Brown

Jette is a passionate instructor of Theatre History (especially Shakespeare) and a lecturer on historical costumes. For over two decades, Jette lived, taught and was a school principal in Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford-on-Avon. Besides teaching in elementary, secondary and post-secondary settings, she also runs Renaissance Masque, a company through which she writes, directs and costumes for organizations such as The Red Deer Chamber Singers, the Red Deer Renaissance Feast, Christ the Redeemer School District, Canadian Badlands Passion Play, and the Canadian Badlands Summer School. Most recently she has directed Into the Woods and Much Ado About Nothing. |

Francis Damberger

Francis Damberger is an award-winning filmmaker who hangs his hat on a ranch in Tofield, Alberta, where he is the president of The Damberger Film and Cattle Co. He has worked as an actor in film, TV and stage, and in 1985, Francis turned his talents to film making. His first film Solitaire swept the Alberta Film Awards and received four Genie nominations and a Genie award for “Best Supporting Actor.” Solitaire was also invited to several film festivals, including the prestigious Cannes TV Festival. Francis’ second feature film Road to Saddle River was well received, and the Toronto Star called it “perhaps the best Canadian film of the year!” Among his many other credits, Francis has directed episodes of Due South, Jake and the Kid, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, So Weird, Mentors, AD. 2030, and Caitlin’s Way. He also directed the TV Movie, Trial by Fire, a North of 60 mystery. His third feature film Heart of the Sun earned much critical praise and several awards. Marc Horton, Edmonton Journal, called the film “an ugly story, told with skill and beauty”.

Lucia Frangione

Lucia Frangione is an internationally produced-and-published playwright and award-winning actor. Some of her plays include Espresso, Chickens, Holy Mo, Cariboo Magi and Wobbling Madonna. She is currently working on a project called "Leave Of Absence" in conjunction with Alberta Theatre Projects and Pacific Theatre, and recently toured a critically acclaimed production of Espresso across Western Canada. Frangione has been the recipient of the Sydney Risk playwright award and two Gordon Armstrong playwright awards. Frangione is noted for her exploration of spirituality, sensuality and feminine identity. She trained at Rosebud School of the Arts and Studio 58. She now lives in Vancouver with her actor husband and their baby girl. |

Karl is an actor first and foremost and has performed for different theatre companies across Alberta. Favourite credits include Peter Pan at Alberta Theatre Projects, a workshop version of Forbidden Phoenix for the Citadel Theatre, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Village of Idiots, and The Foreigner at Rosebud Theatre, Wildwood Park with Gold Star Productions, and Salt-Water Moon with Coastal Prairie Productions. Karl also works as a fight director and stage combat instructor, working towards advanced certification in 2007. Karl has taught acting and stage combat classes at Rosebud School of the Arts, Rocky Mountain College, and numerous high school workshops. For the past five years he has served as the fight director for the Canadian Badlands Passion Play. |

Royal has been in the entertainment industry for nearly twenty years as an actor and musician. He has directed and performed numerous roles for Rosebud Theatre, Chemainus Theatre, Vertigo Theatre, and Naked Soul Productions. His film and television credits include The Claim, The Investigation, High Noon, and Little House on the Prairie – the mini-series, and Steven Spielberg's Into The West. As a musician, Royal is a member of the bluegrass band “Rosebud River Valley Boys” and the folk duo “Lewis & Royal.” Royal is also an accomplished pen and ink artist – his work features primarily scenes of rural prairie life. |

Carol believes there is a dancer in everyone and strives to bring that out through exploration of Laban Dance Concepts and Bartenieff work. Her studies with Bill Evans have led her to teach in a manner that allows the students to have time for technique, time for expression, time for creating, and time for reflection. Dancers learn to be critical observers, which in turn leads to a greater appreciation for the art. Carol teaches dance, movement and yoga at her studio in Drumheller. She teaches dance to the second-year students at Rosebud School of the Arts. She still lives out her motto – Dance with your heart and your feet will follow. |

Stephen is an actor, director, designer and graphic artist who moved recently from Vancouver to Strathmore, Alberta. He recently designed and painted sets for the Jessie award-winning Grace (Pacific Theatre) and The Quarrel (Midnight Theatre Collective). Along with adjunct teaching at RSA, Stephen maintains the school's website. He makes art as an oblation, an offering of sorts, given both to God and for the common good of people. |

Randall has been actively involved with the Canadian Badlands Passion Play in Drumheller, Alberta for nine years and has acted in many small and large parts, including the role of Jesus. He also wrote Thomas: Confessions of a Doubter, which he tours across the world whenever the opportunity arises. As an accomplished graphic artist, set designer and painter, Randall operates Wolf Studios and will be one of the artists contributing to the life-size mural of Christ at the Canadian Badlands Passion Play site. Randall teaches visual art at Rosebud School of the Arts. |
