- Present opportunities for recording an album and learning fundamental techniques of sound engineering
- Explore a wide variety of music, depending on the interest of the participant, including popular and folk, worship, classical, and musical theatre
- Provide an interdisciplinary environment where theatre, visual arts, and music all work together to bring stories and song to life
- Nurture personal faith in a company of Christian artists
Programme Description
Time Period: 6 to 12 months
The Music Internship Programme is open to students who have completed a three- or four-year undergraduate music programme and have been trained in piano, voice, guitar, composition/arranging, or other instruments. The Internship Programme combines opportunities in course work, performance, and recording to help participants enter the music industry with increased confidence and greater skill.
The primary benefit of the internship is literally hundreds of hours of performance in front of a paying audience in a thriving cultural tourist attraction. No ivory tower here – it’s the real thing!
Credentials
Completion of the Internship Programme is based on evaluations from the relevant supervisors and instructors. A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion and grades from any courses are noted in a transcript.
